PM Modi to embark on 2-day visit to Varanasi from July 7

Varanasi, July 2: During his two-day visit to Varanasi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch and lay the groundwork for 28 projects in his parliamentary constituency. He will also give a public speech.

According to a government official, the Prime Minister will lay the groundwork for around 18 initiatives. The Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology’s Skilling and Technical Support Centre (CSTC), located on the Sultanpur-Varanasi National Highway, is one of the projects to be launched.

The foundation stone will also be laid for ten projects totaling more than Rs 305 crore. The embellishment of Manikarnika Ghat and Harishchandra Ghat is among them. Three railway overbridges will also have their foundation stones placed.

In addition, the Prime Minister will dedicate a 10-storey International Hostel at Banaras Hindu University to the public. There is also a plan to prepare the groundwork for the construction of jetties at Assi Ghat, Shivala Ghat, Kedar Ghat, Panchganga Ghat, and Raj Ghat in order to accelerate water movement on the Ganga.
