New Delhi, 25 September: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute around 51,000 appointment letters to newly appointed recruits through video conferencing on September 26 at 10:30 a.m.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister will also address the appointee.
The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) issued a statement on Monday giving this information. It said the job fair would be organised at 46 locations across the country. Recruitment is taking place in the Central Government Departments as well as the State Government-Union Territories supporting this initiative.
The new recruits selected from across the country will join the government in various ministries and departments, including the Department of Posts, the Indian Audit and Accounts Department, the Department of Atomic Energy, the Department of Revenue, the Department of Higher Education, the Ministry of Defence, and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The employment fair is a step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister’s commitment to give top priority to employment generation.
It is expected that the job fair will act as a catalyst for further employment generation and provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in national development.
The newly appointed appointees are also getting the opportunity to train themselves through Karmayogi Samram, an online module on the iGOT Karmayogi portal, where more than 680 e-learning courses are made available for ‘anywhere, any device’ learning format.
