New Delhi, October 18: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch 511 Pramod Mahajan Rural Skill Development Centres in Maharashtra through video conferencing on October 19. These centres are being established in 34 rural districts in Maharashtra.
Rural Skill Development Centres will organise skill development training programmes in various fields to provide employment opportunities to rural youth.
Each centre will train about 100 youth in at least two vocational courses. This training is being provided by industry partners and agencies endorsed by the National Skill Development Council.
The establishment of these centres will help the respective sectors achieve significant progress towards developing more competent and skilled manpower.
