PM Modi to inaugurate BAPS Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi on Valentine’s Day 2024

New Delhi, 28 December: Prime Minister Narendra Modi accepted the invitation to inaugurate the Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi on February 14.

According to a statement issued by BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, on behalf of BAPS Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi, Pujya Swami Ishwarcharandas and Swami Brahmaviharidas, along with the Board of Directors, extended a warm invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the inauguration ceremony to be held on 14 February 2024.

Delighted by this gesture, Prime Minister Modi graciously accepted the invitation, expressing his enthusiastic support for the BAPS Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi, a historic and iconic temple.

The statement said the nearly hour-long, warm and informal meeting, which lasted from 6:30 to 7:25 pm at the Prime Minister’s residential office at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg, was a moment of important dialogue. The discussion revolved around the importance of the Abu Dhabi temple for global harmony and Modi’s vision for India’s spiritual leadership on the global stage.

The BAPS delegation prayed for the health of the Prime Minister and acknowledged his extraordinary global achievements, especially strengthening relations with the UAE and other Middle Eastern countries.

He also discussed the pride and inspiration that Modi’s leadership has generated among Indians around the world.
