Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of projects worth 3254.03 crores

On October 20, the Prime Minister will also address a huge public gathering in temple town

Varanasi, 17th October: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a six-hour visit on October 20 in his parliamentary constituency Varanasi amid impenetrable security fortifications.

During this, the Prime Minister will also give the big gift of projects worth 3254.03 crores to the entire country including Varanasi before Diwali. In this, 15 projects worth 380.13 crores will be inaugurated and the foundation stone of two projects worth 2874.17 crores will be laid. During his Varanasi visit, Prime Minister Modi will also address a public meeting in Sigra Sports Stadium.

In view of the Prime Minister’s program, administrative activity has increased in the district. Officers and BJP officials from Kashi region and public representatives are monitoring the preparations at the venue. Preparations at Sigra Stadium are in the final stages. The SPG team has also reached the city.

According to administrative sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will gift airports to six other districts from Varanasi itself. In this, he will lay the foundation stone for the construction of new civil enclaves at Bagdogra, Darbhanga and Agra airports. Their cost is Rs 3041 crore. Apart from this, he will virtually inaugurate the projects of construction of new terminal building at Rewa Airport, construction work of new terminal building at Maa Mahamaya Airport Ambikapur and construction of a civil enclave at Sarsawa Airport. Their construction will be done at a cost of Rs 255.18 crore.

RJ Shankara Eye Hospital – 90 crores, Redevelopment of Sports Complex, Sigra – 216.29 crores, Tourism redevelopment work in Sarnath – 90.20 crores, Construction of hostel in CIPET Campus, Karsada – 13.78 crores, Construction of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Sports Stadium, hostel and pavilion – 12.99 crores, Beautification and redevelopment work of 20 parks in the city – 7.85 crores, Construction of high-tech lab in ITI Chowkghat, ITI Karaundi – 7.08 crores, Construction of barracks in Central Jail, Varanasi – 6.67 crores, Construction of plastic waste management center in CIPET Campus, Karsada – 6.00 crores, Tourism development work in Banasur Temple, Gurudham Temple – 6.02 crores, Construction work of Central Jail, 48 employee houses – 5.16 crores, Town Hall Construction of shopping complex – 2.51 crores, construction of residential buildings in Primary Health Center, Bharthara – 2.16 crores, construction of Community Health Center, Chiraigaon – 1.93 crores, construction of activity zone and parking under Kakaramta flyover – 1.49 crores are included.
