New Delhi, July 11: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday morning unveiled the National Emblem, Ashoka Pillar, on the roof of the new Parliament House.
On this occasion, he also interacted with the workers working on the construction of Parliament House.
The Prime Minister unveiled the 6.5 meter high Ashoka Pillar on the roof of the new Parliament House. The emblem pillar weighs 9500 kg and is made of bronze.
During this, the Prime Minister also interacted with the workers engaged in the construction of the new Parliament House.
On the occasion, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, senior officers of the Lok Sabha Secretariat and other officials were present.
