PM Modi visits President-elect Droupadi Murmu’s residence and congratulates, Murmu to take oath on July 25

New Delhi, July 21: Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the newly elected President of the country Droupadi Murmu at her temporary residence in New Delhi.

Murmu, the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) candidate, was declared the winner of the presidential election after three phases of counting on Thursday.

Prime Minister Modi visited his residence in Chanakyapuri and congratulated by giving her a bouquet.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President JP Nadda was also present during this. Nadda also congratulated the newly elected President by giving a bouquet.

BJP-led NDA candidate Droupadi Murmu has been declared victorious in the presidential election. She will take oath as the 15th President of the country on July 25. The term of the current President Ram Nath Kovind ends on July 24.
