Varanasi, 26 October: The historic Bharat Milap of Nati Imli along with the Leela lovers of the country and the world, despite all the busy schedule, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also watched it from Delhi and shared its pictures on his X account. Modi also gave a heart touching message.

Prime Minister Modi wrote that the Bharat Milap held under the Lakha Mela in Kashi has been an integral part of India’s eternal culture. This presentation, which has been going on for almost five centuries, once again left the devotees of Lord Shri Ram emotional. Being the MP of Kashi, I feel special pride in this tradition.

Reposting the post written on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Bharat Milap Leela of Kashi has been spreading the values and ideals of Ramrajya for decades.

After Prime Minister Narendra Modi and state Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Samajwadi Party President and former Chief Minister of the state Akhilesh Yadav also shared pictures of Nati Imli Bharat Milap on X account.

Akhilesh Yadav wrote that the age-old tradition of ‘Bharat Milap’ continues even today in Varanasi. Hopefully this will continue whenever Kyoto is built.

It is noteworthy that Megha Bhagat, the counterpart of Goswami Tulsidas, had started this leela 480 years ago. There is a belief in Kashi that Maryada Purushottam Lord Ram himself incarnates for a few moments in Nati Imli Bharat Milap. Devotees not only from India but also from abroad come to watch this five-minute supernatural Ramlila with a unique pure feeling.

The color of devotion to Lord Ram increases so much among people that every corner of Nati Imli ground and road becomes filled with Ram. Flowers are showered from rooftops and barges at the Ramlila site.

In this Bharat Milaap, the whole of Kashi participates with the King of Kashi with full devotion.
