Lucknow, 08 September: Congress General Secretary Ajay Maken claimed that 10 places in the country are being privatized. This includes 6 establishments of Uttar Pradesh, which are being prepared to be handed over to private hands.
Talking to reporters, Ajay Maken said that Modi ji has produced the film whose director he himself is. Demonetization and monetization, these two twins have spoiled the atmosphere.
He said that the government has identified 20 assets of 12 ministries to be handed over to the private sector. Their indicative monetary value has been shown by the government to be six lakh crores.
He said that unprecedented hard work, intelligence, investment has been put into the creation of these assets during the last 70 years. All these assets are invaluable, but preparations are being made to give these assets at throwaway prices.
He said that when there is talk of private company in Modi government, then everyone knows which company it is, which will get the benefit of privatization.
The outline of the movement will be made under the leadership of Congress leader Digvijay Singh.
In response to a question, he said that a committee has been formed under the leadership of senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh which will prepare the roadmap for the movement in the coming days. We will protest all over the country.
