Varanasi, 20 February: Amidst the skyrocketing prices of petrol and diesel, Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Ashwani Kumar Choubey claimed that now indigenous petrol will be made in the country. Ethanol is being used to make petrol. The price of indigenous petrol will be determined in the country itself.
Union Minister, who arrived in Varanasi on Saturday, was meeting the media after attending a review meeting of Covid-19 at DLW Guest House.
The Union Minister said that amid the barrage of questions related to the ever increasing price of petrol, diesel, the price of oil is fixed in the global market. Work is on to control it. In the coming time we will have our own petrol. If there is indigenous petrol, we will keep its value indigenous as well.
On the question related to the farmer stir, he said that some people are creating misunderstanding among the farmers just for politics. There were several rounds of talks with agitating farmers. He was told that if they find any error, we will rectify it. Those who create misunderstandings can never be friendly to farmers.
While attacking the Congress, he said that this party is the enemy of farmers and has been cheating with them since independence.
On the question related to the displeasure of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on the slogan ‘Jai Shri Ram’, he said that without Jai Shri Ram, there would be no welfare of Mamata Banerjee.
Union Minister inspected Madan Mohan Malaviya Cancer Center
After attending the review meeting at DLW, Union Minister Shri Ashwini reached Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Cancer Institute located at BHU campus. After inspecting the hospital, inaugurated the operation theater complex and interacted with the patients. The minister appeared happy with the satisfactory response of the patients.
