New Delhi, July 11: President Droupadi Murmu played badminton with Olympic bronze medalist Saina Nehwal at the badminton court of Rashtrapati Bhavan on Wednesday. 66-year-old Murmu played many excellent shots. Saina was stunned to see her smash shots.

According to the X handle, as part of the ‘Unki Kahani-Meri Kahani’ lecture series of Padma awardees, Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan-awarded Indian player Saina Nehwal will give a lecture at the cultural center of Rashtrapati Bhavan today and interact with the audience.
Saina Nehwal has said on the X handle, “It is an honor for me to play with the President of India. What a memorable day of my life. Thank you very much to the President for playing badminton with me.”
