Gorakhpur, 06 Jan: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has transformed India’s destiny, and his leadership has generated respect for the country, said Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday.
Adityanath emphasized that India’s borders have been protected and that global-level infrastructure, highways, trains, and airports are being created in the nation.
World-class medical facilities, like as AIIMS, and fertilizer plants are being built. He stated that work is being done to connect every village with projects for roads and drinking water, among other things, for the benefit of the public.
Adityanath was speaking at a Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra event in Sanjhai, where he inaugurated and laid the groundwork for many development initiatives totaling Rs 6.47 crore, according to a government release.
When there was no BJP administration at the Centre or in the state, he remarked, people had to go from pillar to post for toilets, homes, rations, health care, roads, and power. When the Narendra Modi administration took office in 2014, it began to treat the country’s 140 million citizens as family, working tirelessly for their well-being.
As a consequence, Adityanath stated that people are answering Modi’s request and continue to bless the BJP. According to the chief minister, the underprivileged are now receiving assistance from government initiatives without prejudice, as the government intended.
Previously, the ration mafia would loot the impoverished. Poor people did not receive rations due to corruption, he alleged, while 80 crore people in the country and 15 crore in Uttar Pradesh now receive free rations.
Adityanath went on to say that impoverished people perished owing to a lack of health care during previous administrations. Ayushman Bharat now provides health insurance coverage of Rs 5 lakh per year to 50 crore individuals in the country and 10 crore in Uttar Pradesh.
According to the statement, the poor did not have dwellings and had to live in huts, however today, four crore poor households in the country and 55 lakh in the state have received housing benefits.
The chief minister further stated that the projects of the federal and state governments are making a difference in the lives of the disadvantaged.
“With such results, if we continue to move forward with determination, we will be able to see India as a developed nation when it celebrates its centennial of independence in 2047. India will be free of poverty, illiteracy, turmoil, and instability, and would be able to lead the globe. Every citizen’s face will be filled with joy. There will be an India in which every Indian will feel proud and the world will follow it,” he said.
Adityanath went on to say that Modi initiated the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra in November with these goals in mind. There was a time when the residents of Gorakhpur could not have imagined the district having four-lane highways or an AIIMS. This double-engine administration has realized these goals, according to Adityanath, who has represented Gorakhpur in the Lok Sabha for over 20 years. The ceremony was attended by Gorakhpur Mayor Manglesh Srivastava, MP Ravi Kishan, and other politicians.
