New Delhi, August 9: The proceedings of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned indefinitely on Friday. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju gave this information.
Rijiju told in a press conference that along with passing the budget in the second session of the 18th Lok Sabha, the Indian Aircraft Bill-2024 was passed.
He further told that during this, 12 bills were introduced. The budget session of Parliament started on 22 July and ended on 9 August. During this, four bills were passed in the Lok Sabha and 3 in the Rajya Sabha. Jammu and Kashmir Appropriation Bill, Appropriation Bill 2024, Finance Bill 2024 were approved in both the houses.
Minister stated that this is the first time that after so many years, not a single day was wasted during the budget session.
