Proceedings of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha adjourned till 2 p.m

New Delhi, July 20: The proceedings of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned until 2 p.m. on Thursday.

A member of the Aam Aadmi Party from Jalandhar, Sushil Kumar Rinku, took oath as a member of the Lok Sabha at the beginning of the proceedings. After this, the proceedings were adjourned until two o’clock to pay homage to the former deceased members of the House.

In the Rajya Sabha also, tributes were paid to the present and former deceased members at the beginning of the proceedings of the House at 11 a.m., and the proceedings were adjourned till noon. After this, there was a demand for discussion on Manipur after the proceedings of the house started again.

On behalf of the ruling party, it was said that the government is ready for discussion. The opposition said that the discussion on Manipur should be held after postponing all other proceedings in the House.

After this, some other opposition parties, including the Congress, started an uproar, on which the proceedings of the House were adjourned till two o’clock.
