Rae Bareli, 09 July: Leader of Opposition (LoP) in Lok Sabha and MP from Raebareli Rahul Gandhi reached Raebareli on a day-long visit on Tuesday. On his arrival, posters of ‘Rahul Gandhi Jawab Do’ have been put up at various places in the city.
The poster mentions Rahul Gandhi’s statement on Hindus in the Parliament and questions have also been raised on his religion.
In Raebareli, these posters have been put up on the roads through which Rahul Gandhi reached his MP residence Bhuemau Guest House, near Civil Line crossing and other crossings of City Kotwali police station area on Tuesday.
The poster reads ‘Rahul Gandhi Jawab Do’. Are the Hindu voters of Raebareli, who gave you their valuable votes, violent? Make it clear which religion you belong to. Whether you believe in Hinduism or not, will the Hindu voters of Raebareli vote for you in the future only to be abused?
Also, a picture of Rahul Gandhi speaking in Parliament House has also been displayed with these controversial words.
Congress District President Pankaj Tiwari said that this is the handiwork of people with petty mentality.
Senior Congress leader and MP Rahul Gandhi is on a one-day visit to his parliamentary constituency Raebareli on Tuesday. First of all, he reached the famous Hanuman temple located on the Raebareli-Lucknow border and offered prayers there.
After this, Rahul Gandhi’s convoy left for Bhuemau Guest House. Here he will meet the family members of martyr Anshuman Singh.
Apart from this, he will discuss development plans with the officials of the district administration. Rahul Gandhi’s program to meet people in one of the assembly is also possible. There is also a program to talk to Rahul’s workers about the local activities of the Congress party at the Bhuemau Guest House.
It is worth mentioning that Rahul Gandhi was to reach Raebareli on Monday evening on a two-day tour, but due to Manipur tour, he has now reached Raebareli on Tuesday. Opposition parties have always raised the issue of Sonia Gandhi’s less visits to Rae Bareli. So that there is no criticism about Rahul Gandhi’s parliamentary constituency in the Parliament. He has become cautious about this. For this reason, Rahul is coming to Rae Bareli before the budget session begins. He has already come to Rae Bareli two months ago.
