New Delhi, 4 September: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Sunday targeted the central government over inflation and unemployment. He said that due to the fear of inflation and unemployment, hatred is increasing among people, the country does not benefit from hatred, it only weakens the country.

Congress MP from Wayanad, Rahul Gandhi was addressing a rally organised by the party at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi on Sunday. He launched an all-out attack on the Modi government in the rally. Accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP for spreading hatred and it would not benefit India, but China and Pakistan.

Accusing the BJP of not giving a chance to the opposition to speak in Parliament, the Congress leader said that the only option left with the opposition is to tell the truth of the country by going to the public. This is the reason why the Congress party is starting ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ from September 7, which will help to communicate directly with the people and discuss their issues. He said that only the Congress can unite the country and take it on the path of progress.

He accused the Modi government of benefiting only two big industrialists in the last 7-8 years and said that both of them are working 24 hours for the Prime Minister. Gandhi said that only these two industrialists are benefiting from this hatred and fear being spread in the country and BJP is working for their benefit. These two industrialists are occupying the airport, port, roads, oil, everything.

He added, loans of big industrialists of the country are being waived but there is no one to take care of the farmers. He said that the condition of the country is such that it cannot give employment to its youth.

Gandhi also alleged that the three agricultural laws were brought not to help the farmers but to benefit some industrialists. He said that if the farmers had not come on the road against the three agricultural laws, then this government would have destroyed the farmers.

Rahul said that the Modi government is harassing small traders and shopkeepers, this government is causing a lot of damage to the small scale industry.

Unemployment will increase further in the country. Petrol, diesel, cooking gas, milk, curd, everything is getting out of the budget of the common people. Rahul said that the common citizen of the country is in a lot of trouble. When the opposition raises this issue in Parliament, it is not allowed to speak there.

Modi government is not even allowing the media to speak. He said media is now in the hands of industrialists but the public knows for whom the media is working.

Rahul said that the power of the country is being run by two industrialists. PM Modi cannot run the government without their cooperation. This government is misusing the investigative agencies, he added. Rahul said that he was questioned by the ED for 55 hours, but in this fight to save the Constitution, he will stand firm and the common people of the country will also have to participate in this fight.

Rahul said that today there are two Hindustans in the country, one is the Hindustan of the poor and the other is the Hindustan of the rich. There are only a few selected people in the rich India. Rahul said that UPA waived loans of farmers and Modi government gave three black laws. The UPA brought the MNREGA law and gave the poor the right to live with dignity and the Modi government tried to stop this scheme.

Rahul said that the UPA brought 27 crore people out of poverty in 10 years and the Modi government forced 23 crore people to live below the poverty line. He said that unemployment is highest in the country at this time but this government is not ready to speak on these issues.
