Kanpur, February 12: There seems to be a change in the weather of Uttar Pradesh once again. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in eastern Uttar Pradesh including Kanpur division. Along with this, night temperatures will drop due to movement of clouds in the sky. In such a situation, the winter chill in the morning and evening will persist.
Dr SN Sunil Pandey, meteorologist of Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agricultural Technology, said on Monday that a cyclonic wind area has formed over South Gujarat and surrounding areas. A cyclonic circulation lies over South Assam and adjoining areas up to 3.2 km above sea level. A trough is extending from South Interior Karnataka to West Vidarbha, passing through North Interior Karnataka and Marathwada. Due to these weather activities, there will be light rain with drizzle in Kanpur division on 13 and 14 February.
He apprised that along with this, there will be movement of clouds in the sky. There are also chances of heavy rain in eastern Uttar Pradesh including Kanpur division, i.e. Kaushambi and Prayagraj. Due to the arrival of clouds, the night temperatures will remain low due to which the cold of morning and evening will remain intact.
Dr SN Sunil Pandey said that the maximum temperature in Kanpur was recorded at 24.8 and the minimum temperature was 7.0 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity in the morning was 94 percent and the relative humidity in the afternoon was 48 percent. The direction of the winds was south-east with an average speed of 1.5 km per hour. According to the weather forecast, due to light to moderate clouds in Kanpur in the next five days, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain at some places along with local thunderstorms on 13 and 14 February.
