New Delhi, 15 January: The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has estimated a trade of Rs 1 lakh crore in the country before the consecration ceremony of Lord Ram Lalla (Infant form of Lord Ram) on January 22 in Ayodhya.
CAIT has predicted a business of more than Rs 20 thousand crore in Delhi alone.
CAIT’s National General Secretary Praveen Khandelwal claimed in a statement on Monday that before January 22, more than 30 thousand programs are being organized by businessmen and other social organizations across the country. There is expected to be a huge increase in business across the country due to the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony in Ayodhya on January 22.
According to Khandelwal, earlier CAIT had estimated a business of Rs 50 thousand crores, but looking at the way people across the country including the capital Delhi are enthusiastic about the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla, it can be said that the business in the country will be Rs 1 lakh crore.
To reach this conclusion, CAIT has based the feedback received from 30 cities of the country. Revising the earlier estimate, Khandelwal said that the figure of jump in the country’s economy due to the consecration ceremony of Ram temple will cross Rs 1 lakh crore.
He has described it as a rare incident in the business history of the country.
He said that this eternal economy of business growth in the country on the strength of faith and trust is creating many new business opportunities in large quantities.
Regarding the basis of the estimate of one lakh crore, he said that due to the love and dedication of businessmen and other sections towards Ram Temple, more than 30 thousand programs are being organized by business organizations across the country till January 22. In this, many events will be held in the markets including processions, Ram walk, Ram rally, Ram ferry, scooter and car rally and Ram Chowki.
According to Khandelwal, there is a huge demand for Shri Ram flags, patkas, caps, T-shirts, kurtas printed with Ram temple motifs etc. to decorate the markets. Considering the rapid increase in demand for Ram Mandir models, there is a possibility of more than 5 crore models being sold across the country. Work is going on day and night in various cities of the country to prepare the model. Large scale musical groups, artists playing Dhol, Taash, Band, Shehnai, Nafiri etc. have been booked for the upcoming days.
CAT General Secretary said that there is a demand for crores of lamps made of clay and other items across the country. Arrangements for colorful lighting, flower decoration etc. are also being made in the markets on a large scale. Including all this, organizing Bhandara etc. is expected to generate trade worth Rs 1 lakh crore through goods and services.
Regarding the programs to be organized in Delhi, Khandelwal said that in the next one week, there will be over 200 Shri Ram Samvad programs in the markets of Delhi, while more than 1000 Shri Ram Chowki, Shri Ram Kirtan, Shri Sunderkand recitation, 24-hour Akhand Ramayana recitation will be held. There will be large scale religious programs including 24-hour continuous lamp lighting, bhajan evening. Models of Shri Ram Temple will be kept in many markets. More than 5 thousand hoardings will be put up in Delhi by various traders and other organizations led by traders. Overall, complete preparations have been made by the traders to convert every market of Delhi into Ayodhya.
