Ramlala’s consecration ceremony to take place on Jan 22 next year, PM Modi will attend, confirms PMO

New Delhi, 25 October: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today met the officials of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. The officials of the Trust invited him for the consecration of Ramlala at Shri Ram Temple.

The consecration of the new idol of Ramlala in the new temple being built at Shri Ram’s birthplace in Ayodhya will take place on January 22, 2024.

Giving this information on Twitter, the Prime Minister said that today is a day full of emotions. Now officials of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust came to meet him at his residence. He invited him to come to Ayodhya on the occasion of consecration of Shri Ram temple.

The Prime Minister said, “I feel very blessed. It is my good fortune that in my lifetime, I will witness this historic occasion.”

Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, who was part of the inviting delegation, said that the consecration of the new idol of Ram Lalla in the new temple being built at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya will take place on January 22, 2024. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself will be present on this occasion.

He told that a formal invitation letter to visit Ayodhya was presented to Prime Minister Modi, which he readily accepted.

He further said that 4000 saints, Mahatmas of the country and 2500 eminent personalities of the society will witness this historic occasion.

The delegation that invited the Prime Minister included Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trustee Pujya Swami Vishwaprasanna Teerth Ji Maharaj, Trust Treasurer Pujya Swami Govind Dev Giri Ji Maharaj, Temple Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Mishra.
