Ayodhya, 12 Oct: Champat Rai, General Secretary of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, stated unequivocally at Karsevakpuram that protocol holders should not travel to Ayodhya on the day of the consecration ceremony on January 22, in order to avoid any disruption to the ritual.
He stated that there is constitutional etiquette with state CMs, Governors, and ambassadors.
On January 22, neither we nor the administration here will be able to serve them. Following Champat Rai’s declaration, it has been established that Ramlala’s consecration would take place only on January 22.
When asked about the date of consecration being set by the PMO after Champat Rai’s comments, he evaded answering the subject. However, it is presently anticipated that Ramlala’s consecration in the new temple will only take place on January 22.
The PMO has yet to announce the date of the PM’s visit to Ayodhya. Preparations are also underway. The VHP’s international division will contact NRI devotees.
Champat Rai stated that NRI devotees are being asked to plan their trips to Ayodhya based on the dates of their various nations. The provision of amenities will thus become easier. Workers have been assigned to communicate with NRIs living in other countries. VHP’s Foreign Relations Department has been entrusted with this role.
“NRIs can contact them and get necessary facilities and information. Our effort is to make better arrangements for Ram devotees,” he responded.
