Mumbai, Aug. 10:The film ‘Mardaani 2’ is scheduled to release on 13 December this year. The first look of Rani Mukerji’s character in Mardaani 2 has been released. In the film, Rani Mukerji will be seen playing the role of a strong cop. The film is directed by Gopi Puthran and the film is produced by Yash Raj Productions. Yash Raj Films said in a post on its Twitter account that the film ‘Mardaani 2’ is releasing in theaters on 13 December 2019. In the film, Rani Mukerji will be seen playing the role of Shivani Shivaji Roy.

The shooting of Mardaani 2 started from 23 March. ‘Mardaani 2’ is the sequel to Yash Raj’s ‘Mardaani’ which came in 2014. ‘Mardaani’ was directed by Pradeep Sarkar.
