Delhi, 16 December: The Rashtrapati Bhavan issued a statement on Friday announcing that there would be no change of guard ceremony on Saturday, December 16.
This decision was made due to the scheduled guard of honour for the Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tarik, who will be making his first state visit to India on that day.
The visit aims to strengthen collaborations between the two countries for regional stability and prosperity. As a result, the regular change of guard ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan will be suspended for this special occasion.
