Real-Time ‘Khatauni’ work finished by 100% in 10 districts of UP

Lucknow, June 08: On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Revenue Department is working at a fast pace to make land records digitally accessible for the convenience of the general public.

Due to these efforts, there are 10 districts of the state where almost 100 percent work of real-time ‘Khatauni’ (also known as Patta or Records of Rights- government document related to land revenue records that can be viewed online) has been completed. 

A spokesperson of the state government said on Saturday that out of these top 10 districts, 4 have completed 100 percent real time Khatauni, while in the remaining six districts also more than 99 percent work has been done. Overall, 95.7 percent work of real time Khatauni has been completed and even in the districts with the worst performance, more than 72 percent work has been completed.

He assured that the Revenue Department will be able to make 100 percent Khatauni digitally accessible in all districts by December 2024. Shamli, Farrukhabad, Amethi and Kushinagar on top He informed that the districts which have completed 100 percent real time Khatauni work include districts like Shamli, Farrukhabad, Amethi and Kushinagar.

He said that at the same time 99.94 percent work has been completed in Sultanpur, 99.91 percent in Amroha, 99.91 percent in Moradabad, 99.86 percent in Kasganj, 99.84 percent in Siddharthnagar and 99.83 percent in Ambedkarnagar. The districts where least work has been done include Kanpur Nagar (72.24%), Prayagraj (72.50%), Varanasi (73.30%), Chitrakoot (82.24%), Balrampur (84.32%), Meerut (87.43%), Kaushambi (87.43%), Bagpat (87.46%), Jaunpur (88.68%) and Bahraich (91.13%). Work has been completed to a large extent in these districts and all these districts have been instructed to complete the work by December. Instructions to speed up work in 13 districts 

He informed that apart from this there are about 13 districts where 100 or more villages are still left to be transformed. These include the maximum 854 villages in Prayagraj, 391 in Jaunpur, 377 in Varanasi, 302 in Kanpur Nagar, 169 in Sitapur, 159 in Balrampur, 156 in Gorakhpur, 129 in Kheri, 125 in Fatehpur, 120 in Bahraich, 109 in Gonda, 107 in Kaushambi and 100 villages in Chitrakoot. These districts have also been instructed to complete the work by December.
