Hyderabad, 14 February: The Congress party made significant announcements on Wednesday, February 14, by naming Renuka Chowdhury, a former union minister, and Anil Kumar Yadav, Telangana State Youth Congress President, as their candidates for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections in Telangana. This decision has been seen as a strategic move by the Congress to strengthen their presence in the state and gain the support of young voters.
In addition to Telangana, the party also announced its candidates for the Rajya Sabha elections in Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh. This includes prominent leaders such as Ajay Maken, Dr Syed Naseer Hussain, GC Chandrashekar from Karnataka and Askoh Singh from Madhya Pradesh.
The Congress party seems to be making strategic moves to strengthen its position in these states and gain an advantage in the upcoming elections.
