Lucknow, 16 Aug: The Uttar Pradesh government released the first instalment of Rs 107 crore on Tuesday for the expansion and rehabilitation of roads leading to Ayodhya’s Ram Temple. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi corridor has been given Rs 9 billion by the state government.
Awanish Kumar Awasthi, UP ACS Home, acknowledged to the media that the Yogi Adityanath-led administration has released the first tranche of funds for the project.
He also stated that the road leading to Ram Janmabhoomi will be widened by 700 metres, with Rs 62 crores set aside for the purpose. All three roads have been approved for renovation. PWD will carry out the job, which will begin shortly, he added.
According to the vision plan, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed the renovation of three roads and the establishment of six parking spaces for the development of Ayodhya.
According to ACS Home AK Awasthi, the Ayodhya Development Authority has begun the building of parking spaces, and the restored roads would be modern with drainage, lighting, cables, and a pavement system.
Earlier this week, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra general secretary Champat Rai assured the media that the magnificent Ram temple in Ayodhya will be finished by December of next year, and that visitors would be able to catch a glimpse of Ram Lalla.
He also stated that building is progressing well and that the temple would be ready for worshipers by December 2023. He said that the temple’s design will astound onlookers, and that no iron was utilised in its construction.
