Lucknow, 13 December: Sagar Sharma, a resident of Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, was also among those who entered the Parliament and created a ruckus by jumping from the Visitors’s gallery during the proceedings of the winter session of the Lok Sabha on Wednesday.
Two days ago, he had left the house after telling his family that he was going to participate in the protest in Delhi. The family members were shocked when his name surfaced in this incident on Wednesday and they said that they did not have any information about it.
After this incident in Parliament, when the name of an accused was linked to Lucknow, the Police Commissionerate team became completely alert. Police and many officers of Alambagh police station reached the house of the accused. The family members and neighbors got scared after seeing the heavy police force. During this time, the police team separated the family members and started interrogating them.
During interrogation, younger sister Mahi Sharma told that there are a total of four members in her family including her. Father Roshanlal Sharma is a carpenter. He has been driving an e-rickshaw for the last two months after his brother returned from Bengaluru in August. Brother was in Bengaluru for two years. He came to know about this incident from television.
Mother told that Sagar had left home saying that he was going to join the protest in Delhi. When Sagar’s name comes up in this incident, he himself is surprised.
On asking the neighbors, it was found that Sagar’s family has been living here in a rented house for about 15 years. Sagar had no quarrel with anyone. However, now the police and the investigation team of UP are investigating the Bengaluru connection of this Sagar Sharma.
