Lucknow, 08 August: A sanitation worker posted at the State Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) tried to kill himself by jumping from the roof of the Police Commissioner’s office on Tuesday.
The police have started investigating the matter by admitting the injured to the hospital.
According to the preliminary information, the police commissioner’s office remains in the Mahanagar police station area itself. There is also an office of FSL in the same building, in which an employee named Raju does the work of cleaning. On Tuesday afternoon, he tried to kill himself by jumping from the roof of the building.
As soon as the news of this incident was received, senior police officers have also reached the spot. The seriously injured youth has been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Doctors have apprised his condition as critical. There is no information yet about why he tried to commit suicide. Till now no statement has come from the police officials in this matter.
