New Delhi, July 20: The Supreme Court of Madhya Pradesh has expressed concern over the continuous death of cheetahs in the Kuno National Park of Madhya Pradesh.
During the hearing before a bench headed by Justice BR Gavai, the court expressed concern over the deaths of cheetahs when the central government informed them that eight cheetahs have died so far.
During the hearing today, ASG Aishwarya Bhati, appearing for the Central Government, said that a detailed report will be filed on the matter.
The Centre said that 8 out of 20 cheetahs have died. Mortality of up to 50 percent is considered normal during the resettlement of cheetahs.
