New Delhi, September 22: The Supreme Court has refused to hear the petition demanding a scientific survey like the Gyanvapi complex in the Shahi Idgah of Mathura. The bench headed by Sanjay Kishan Kaul refused to hear the petition.

The Supreme Court said that the petition related to this is pending in the High Court; hence, only the High Court will consider it.

Actually, Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Mukti Nirman Trust had filed a petition with the Supreme Court. In July, the Allahabad High Court rejected the petition demanding a scientific survey of Shahi Idgah.

The decision of the High Court has been challenged by the Supreme Court.
