Government order issued to conduct testing with Covid testing van
State Infrastructure and Industrial Development Commissioner Alok Tandon informed that the Government Order (GO) has been issued to examine patients admitted in major private hospitals through Covid Testing Van.
โThis van will reach the major private hospitals every day and the hospital management will check such patients admitted for non-Covid treatment but have developed symptoms of coronavirus infection,โ he added. ย
Despite all efforts, the pace of deadly infection of Covid-19 in the state has not stopped.
The record of new cases was registered again in the last 24 hours in the state and this number reached close to three thousand.
During this period, the highest number of cases till date was 2,984. Earlier, on Friday, the number was stated as 2,712 by the government.
So far 1,387 people have died due to infection
State Infrastructure and Industrial Development Commissioner Alok Tandon said on Saturday that the number of active cases of corona has now increased to 22,452 in 75 districts.
So far, 39,903 people have fully recovered after treatment and have returned to their homes.
At the same time, a total of 1,387 people have died due to this virus in the entire state.
17, 62,416 corona samples have been tested
He said that for the first time in the state on Friday, the daily corona test data crossed 57 thousand and a record 57,068 samples were tested. This is by far the highest number of specimens examined in a single day.
โThese include the RTPCR, the Antigen test and the TrueNat test. With this, a total of 17, 62,416 corona samples have been tested so far in the state, Tandon added.

He said that 18,630 samples were tested through 3,484 pools on Friday. Five samples per pool were tested through 3,242 pools. At the same time, ten samples per pool were tested through 242 pools. Officer further added that earlier on Thursday, 17,075 samples were tested through 3,147 pools. Five samples per pool were tested through 2,879 pools, of which 481 pools were positive. At the same time, ten samples were tested through 268 pools, of which 30 pools were positive.
About 4.15 lakh people have been called related to Aarogya Setu app
He informed that the alerts received by those who downloaded the ‘Aarogya Setu’ app in the state are being sent to the respective districts. At the same time, people who have come in contact with infected people have been called and informed through the control room. Now Chief Minister Helpline-1076 is also helping in this and people are also being called through it. So far 4, 15,890 people have been called. They have been advised to be vigilant.
Health teams reach among 6.86 crore people
He informed that the health department teams are constantly reaching out and surveying people in different areas. So far 1,87,593 teams have surveyed 6,86,73,598 crore people from 1,34,98,386 households.
