Lucknow, 12 February: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath here on Sunday welcomed the delegation from United Kingdom at the UP Global Investors Summit and remarked that it seems to be yielding results better than expected.
Seven companies from the United Kingdom signed MoUs with the UP government for investment proposals worth Rs 1,643 crore.
CM Yogi was speaking after attending a session at Dadhichi Hall on the last day of the UP Global Investors Summit at Vrindavan Yojna.
In additon to the investment by UK companies, an MoU of ?620 crore was signed between Noida International Airport and Air India. Many other companies are also ready to sign MoUs with the state government as the figure of investment can reach a staggering amount of ?35 lakh crore.
Chief Minister Yogi will share the total investments received in the Mahakumbh of investors in the presence of President Droupadi Murmu at the closing ceremony of GIS.
