New Delhi, 6 January: The Special Cell team of Delhi Police has arrested a sharpshooter, who is said to be from Lawrence Bishnoi Kala Rana gang. He has been caught by setting a trap in Rohini area of โโDelhi. He has been identified as Pradeep Singh. He is a resident of Uttarakhand. A sophisticated pistol and several live cartridges have also been recovered from it, Delhi police said.
According to information received from Special Cell officials, a secret information was received about this shooter. This was being collected and investigated. When the information was confirmed through technical surveillance and informers, it was revealed that he was coming to meet someone in Rohini area. Then the Special Cell team set a trap near Rohini Sector 23 and surrounded and caught the shooter.
According to the authorities, upon search, two sophisticated weapons and 09 cartridges were recovered from him.
At present, the police team is interrogating the captured shooter in detail, so that it can be known how many cases are already pending against him. Whom did he come to meet, what was found from him, who provided him with that weapon.
After presenting him in the court, the Special Cell team is also trying to take this shooter on remand, so that further investigation can be done.
