Sikh Gurus sacrificed their lives to save the country and religion: Yogi Adityanath

Lucknow, 27 November: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath participated in the program organized at Gurdwara Sahib Gurdwara in Ashiana on the 554th Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Sikh Gurus sacrificed their lives to save the country and religion. Guru Nanak did the work of raising his voice against the atrocities of Babar. Yogi said that Guru Nanak ji was born in Nankana Sahib but the whole of India remained inspired by him. After being born in Nankana Sahib, Guru Nanak dedicated his life to social service and spread devotion in the society.

Yogi Adityanath said that the sacrifice of Sikh Gurus inspires all of us to move forward after facing challenges. For the country and society, the establishment of Khalsa Panth causes the decline of the Mughal Sultanate. Guru Gobind Singh and his princes were sacrificed. Take inspiration from your history.

Speaking on this occasion, Minister of State Baldev Singh Olakh said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath actively participates in the programs of our Gurus with great devotion and great intimacy. Today, despite being busy, he took out time and came here. On this occasion, Lucknow Mayor Sushma Kharkwal and Minority Commission member Sardar Parvinder Singh were prominently present.
