Bareilly, 10 Jan: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who reached Nath Nagri Bareilly, addressed a public meeting at Bareilly Club grounds on Wednesday. He said that earlier people used to hesitate in taking the name of Ayodhya but after 500 years a grand temple is being built in Ayodhya.

Appealing to celebrate it like a national festival, he asked people to celebrate Diwali on this day. On this day everyone should light lamps in their homes. Everyone should recite Ramayana in temples. He appealed to all the people to come to Ayodhya and said that all the MPs and MLAs will take you to Ayodhya by buses and will also make arrangements for food and accommodation for you.

Earlier curfew was imposed in Bareilly, now curfew will be imposed at the places of curfew enforcers:

“Chief Minister Yogi said that earlier curfew was imposed in many cities including Bareilly, Muzaffarnagar, Rampur but now it is not so. Now curfew will be imposed on those who were indulging in unlawful activities leading to curfew. Now development is taking place everywhere. When curfew was imposed in Bareilly, I had planned to come to Bareilly. I was not allowed to come,” he recalled.

Nath Nagari Corridor is being built in Bareilly like Kashi and Ayodhya: While addressing the public from the stage, Yogi Adityanath said that we do not discriminate in any way.

“The way Kashi corridor is being built in Kashi, corridor in Prayagraj and Ayodhya. Similarly, Nath Nagri Corridor is being built in Bareilly also. It came after making budget provision for this. The roads budget has been passed. This will bring development in Bareilly,” he emphasised.

Yogi said that I had come to Bareilly during the municipal elections.

“At that time I told you that along with double engine, triple engine is also necessary. You people have elected Umesh Gautam as your mayor. Thank you all for that. Today, among the projects worth Rs 3405 crore, there are projects related to smart city, education, health and development,” he said.

The Chief Minister said that today we all are seeing a new India. ?The whole world follows him. The benefits of development schemes are being provided without discrimination. IIT, AIIMS, Airport are giving a new identity to India today. Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra is being run. Every scheme is being delivered to the poor without any discrimination. Here the benefits of the schemes are not given on the basis of face. This is the way to move forward from the mentality of slavery. If every citizen of India performs his duties then India will become a developed India,” he claimed.

The cleanliness campaign will run from January 14 to 20. ?Perform Ramayana recitation in every temple. There will be a public holiday on 22nd. Light lamps in homes on that day and celebrate the new Diwali of new India,? he suggested prior to signing off.
