Sluggish start of Akshay Kumar’s ‘Mission Raniganj’, earns only 2.8 crores on 1st day

Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Mission Raniganj’ was released in theaters on Friday 06 October. It was in the news since its announcement. This film is based on the life of Sardar Jaswant Singh Gill. The first day earnings of the film have been revealed.

According to the report of ‘Sacnilk’, ‘Mission Raniganj’ has earned Rs 2.8 crore on the first day. If the film gets the benefit of weekend then it can collect better collection in two days.

Parineeti Chopra has played the role of Akshay Kumar’s wife in this film. It also stars Kumud Mishra, Ravi Kishan, Pawan Malhotra, Lankesh Bhardwaj, Rajesh Sharma.

The film is based on the rescue of 65 workers trapped in a mine in Raniganj, West Bengal, by Sardar Jaswant Singh Gill and others.

Based on a true incident, this film also has a big star cast. There are many thrilling scenes too. The budget of the film is 55 crores. The film has taken an average opening at the box office on the first day.
