Amethi, 13 Oct: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Friday, citing sports and startups, that talent from the country’s rural villages is getting a chance to shine in modern India.
Modi ascribed this to the government’s “transparent” attitude in a video message broadcast at the concluding ceremony of the sports tournament Amethi Sansad Khel Pratiyogita 2023 here.
According to him, the Sansad Khel Pratiyogita is an excellent platform for discovering such individuals and honing their abilities for the sake of the nation.
“In today’s changing India talent from the small towns is getting opportunities to openly come forward,” he told reporters. “If India has made such a name in startups, the startups from small towns have played a big role.” he said.
