Varanasi, 10 December: About 13 crore devotees across the country paid obeisance at the Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi since the inauguration of the Kashi Vishwanath Dham Corridor in December 13, 2021 by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi is also the two term Member of Parliament (MP) from Varanasi constituency.
It is worth mentioning that a large number of foreign devotees also arrived for offering prayers. Around 16 thousand foreign devotees visited the Kashi Vishwanath temple in two years.
Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple corridor was inaugurated on December 13, 2021 by Kashi MP and Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi. Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham has become a center of reverence for foreign guests also. After the inauguration of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham, more than 15930 foreign guests had made bookings for Kashi Vishwanath Dham ‘darshan’.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath keeps giving instructions from time to time during inspection for the convenience and ease of worship of Baba’s devotees. CM Yogi is trying to ensure that the devotees coming here do not face any kind of problem.

After taking the grand form of the new and divine Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, the number of Indian and foreign devotees is setting new records.
Sunil Verma, Chief Executive Officer of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham and Special Area Development Council, said that from the inauguration of the Dham (13 December 2021) to 6 December 2023, more than 15,930 foreign devotees had made bookings for easy darshan of the Vishwanath temple.
He told that compared to last year (2022), their bookings this year are almost double.
He told that from the inauguration on December 13, 2021 till December 6 2023, a record of more than 12 crore 92 lakh 24 thousand people have paid obeisance at the Kashi Vishwanath temple. The result of the efforts of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, religious tourism in Kashi is touching new dimensions day by day.
