Lucknow, July 27: The rapidly growing cases of corona in the state remain a big challenge in front of the health department. In view of the present condition of corona in the state, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself visited several districts and took stock of the condition of corona treatment and gave instructions to improve the system.
Along with this, senior officials of the government are also going to review the districts where more cases of infection are coming up.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has clearly instructed that the number of daily check-ups should be continuously increased so that the number of bona fide patients can be provided prompt treatment and the infection can be stopped.
Meanwhile, 321 of the 5,087 samples tested on Sunday at the Microbiology Department of King George’s Medical University (KGMU) in the capital came out to be positive on Monday. These include 118 of Lucknow, 69 of Shahjahanpur, 47 of Kannauj, 40 of Hardoi, 33 of Barabanki, 03 of Sitapur, 02 of Basti, and 01 of Amethi, Lakhimpur Kheri, Maharajganj, Sultanpur, Ambedkarnagar, Ballia, Azamgarh, Unnao and Kaushambi 01 each patient.
Along with this, new cases of corona have also been confirmed in reports from several other laboratories. In the samples sent from Kushinagar to Gorakhpur Medical College, nine reports were received on Monday morning, of which all are infected with virus. The number of infected in the district has gone up to 524, and the death toll has gone up to 10.
Chief Medical Officer Dr NP Gupta told that so far a total of 346 people have been sent home after getting cured. The infected are being admitted to the Covid Care Hospital set up in Laxmipur for treatment. A list is being made by marking those who come in contact with them.
So far, 40 people have been found to be Covid-19 positive in Sant Kabirnagar. These include five police personnel posted at the CO office – Khalilabad. The maximum number of Hansar Bazaar in the district is 14, 10 in Khalilabad, 05 in Nathanagar, 04 in Semriyawan, 03 in Santha, 02 in Baghauli, 01-1 in Cori positive in Pauli and Belharkalan. He is being admitted to the Corona ward of St. Thomas Inter College-Khalilabad. At the same time, 10 infected people were healthy and sent to their homes.
Additional Chief Medical Officer Dr Mohan Jha said that ten people have died from deadly virus so far. While a total of 536 infected patients have been sent to their respective homes after being treated. Currently 216 infected patients are undergoing treatment in the corona ward.
According to the report released in Agra district on Sunday night, 27 new cases were reported, total corona infected has been 1,652. Now, the number of cured people has been 1,358. The number of the dead is 97. At present, there are 197 active cases in the city.
Similarly, today 64 people were discharged from the hospital from Corona in Meerut. So far 1,612 people have been discharged here. Today, with the addition of 27 new positive cases, the total number here has jumped to 1977. According to the Chief Medical Officer Dr Rajkumar, now people are recovering quickly and going home.
In Varanasi, from Sunday evening to Monday, 40 new corona infected patients were found out of 503 reports received from BHU lab. Thus, the total corona patients in Varanasi district have increased to 2,125 while 855 patients have been healthy and discharged from the hospitals. Currently, the number of active cases is 1228 while 42 people have died so far.
In Jalaun district, reports of late Sunday night found 40 people infected. These include the Orai Municipality chairman and 29 inmates of the district jail. Apart from this, 02 NCC personnel have also been found infected by the fatal virus. The total number of infected in the district has been 304. There are 74 active cases. 221 patients have recovered after treatment. At the same time, 09 people have died due to infection.
At the same time, in view of the increasing coronavirus cases in Kanpur city, District Magistrate (DM) Brahmadev Ram Tiwari declared 10 police station areas as Chakri, Kalyanpur Naubasta, Barra, Philkhana, Govind Nagar, Kakadev, City Kotwali, Gwalatoli, Swaroop Nagar as major Containment Zone and various restrictions have been implemented from 10 pm on Sunday night will remain till 31 July.
However, during this time only the movement of vehicles associated with essential services will be allowed. Earlier in the capital Lucknow also, the administration has made such a decision.
In Hamirpur district, 46 people were found infected on the same day in testing conducted by the TrueNat machine and rapid antigen kit. So far, the number of infected in the district has increased to 254, in which 145 people have been cured.
Meanwhile, 65 new corona positive cases have been found in Aligarh district. In the district, the number of corona infected patients has reached 1193 while the active cases are 358. With this, 27 patients have died in the district so far.
Similarly, there are 12 new corona cases confirmed in Banda district. So far, 245 people have been hit by Corona in the district. 101 people have been sent home after recovering.
