Lucknow, 20 April: The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) national president Mayawati on Sunday attacked the Samajwadi Party (SP). She said that like Congress and BJP, SP too has ill intentions and malice in its policies, due to which SP can never be a true well-wisher of Dalits and Bahujans. It will continue to deceive for the sake of votes, while BSP will always struggle to make ‘Bahujan Samaj’ the ruling class.

Mayawati wrote in a post on X on Sunday, ‘Like Congress-BJP, SP too does not have the will to end poverty, casteist exploitation and injustice-atrocities etc. Giving constitutional rights to Dalits and their real welfare and upliftment is a far-fetched idea. Due to this, they are far away from the mainstream.

BSP chief Mayawati said that the people of SP have always betrayed BSP. The murderous attack on the SP leadership on June 2, tearing of the bill of reservation in promotion in Parliament, changing the names of new districts, parks, educational and medical colleges created in honour of saints, gurus and great men, etc. are such extreme casteist acts which are impossible to forgive.

Former Chief Minister Mayawati said that her party has been successful to a great extent in its mission of abolishing the caste system and establishing brotherhood in the society through its continuous efforts, but the Samajwadi Party is engaged in spoiling it in every way to fulfill its narrow political interests, people should be cautious of this.
