SP MP Babu Singh Kushwaha surrenders in the CoC violation case, court grants bail

Jaunpur, August 28: In the case of violation of code of conduct (CoC) in Singramau in the Lok Sabha elections 2024, MP Babu Singh Kushwaha surrendered in the MP MLA Court on Wednesday. The court approved two bails of Rs 20,000.

Satish Kumar Maurya had lodged an FIR in Singramau police station against Babu Singh Kushwaha, SP candidate, party in-charge of Jan Adhikar Party that in the Lok Sabha elections 2024, SP candidate Babu Singh Kushwaha and his unknown supporters and party in-charge SP and party in-charge Jan Adhikar Party, despite the imposition of Section 144 at 11 am on April 21, 2024, arbitrarily jammed the highway under Singramau police station area by gathering a crowd. When the administration tried to convince them a lot, they did not listen and started getting aggressive. They also had about 50-60 vehicles without permission. These people completely violated the code of conduct in the Lok Sabha General Elections 2024.

The police investigated and presented the charge sheet in the court.

The court issued summons against Babu Singh Kushwaha and others. On which Babu Singh Kushwaha reached the civil court and surrendered in the court. The court granted bail. After bail, he met the lawyers and discussed various issues.
