Varanasi, 23 Sept: The projected international cricket stadium in Ganjari would include architectural elements reminiscent of Kashi and its lord Vishwanath.

This stadium’s theme architecture is inspired by Lord Shiva, with crescent-shaped roof covers, trident-shaped floodlights, ghat steps-based seats, and Bilvipatra-shaped metallic sheets on the exterior.

The “essence of Kashi” will be apparent in the stadium’s design. The stadium will feature contemporary facilities and seats for 30000 people.

PM Modi stated that Shiv Shakti has a home on the moon. Second, Shiv Shakti has a temple in Kashi.

“This stadium’s design pays homage to Mahadev (Lora Shiva). When sports infrastructure is built, it not only benefits the development of young athletes, but it also benefits the local economy,” he opined.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated, “I have come to Kashi today as India completes one month of reaching the Moon?s Shiv Shakti Point. Shiv Shakti is the location where our Chandrayaan landed on the 23rd of this month. One Shiva Shakti location is on the moon, while the other is in my Kashi.”
