Lucknow, 11 December: Stones will be repaired in Ramabai Ambedkar Rally Ground, which is known as Dharna Sthal in Lucknow. The broken stones in the rally ground as well as in the related areas will now be replaced or repaired.
Ashish Kumar, Manager of Ramabai Ambedkar Ground and various other related areas, said that only the firm registered with Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) will be given the work of repairing or replacing the stones. Time till December 16 has been given for this so if any firm interested in this work will submit its quotation in the office.
He said that this decision was taken after the stones were found broken at many places in the rally ground. Cuts have also been found on the stones installed around the ground. Along with this, they will also be repaired. If the need to replace the stones is seen, they will be replaced with other stones.
