Sunny Deol’s ‘Jaat’ and Akshay Kumar’s ‘Kesari-Chapter 2’ continue to dominate box office

Sunny Deol is in the news these days for his recently released film ‘Jaat’. The film was released in theaters on April 10 and is getting a good response from the audience since the first day of its release.

According to reports, after doing tremendous business in theaters, ‘Jaat’ will soon move to OTT. It is being told that the digital premiere of the film may happen on Netflix early next month.

According to the report of box office tracker Sacnilk, Sunny Deol’s film ‘Jaat’ earned Rs 5.15 crore on the 11th day of its release i.e. on the second Sunday. With this, the total collection of the film has now reached to Rs 74.55 crore. The budget of the film is said to be around Rs 100 crore. Randeep Hooda is seen opposite Sunny Deol in the film, who is playing the role of a villain this time. Randeep’s acting is getting a lot of appreciation from the audience. This action-drama film is directed by famous South Industry director Gopichand Malineni.

Along with Randeep Hooda and Sunny Deol, Vineet Kumar Singh has also played an important role in ‘Jaat’. The film also features actors like Zarina Wahab and Saiyami Kher, who have strengthened the story with their strong performances. The film is a pan-India release, which can be seen in Hindi as well as Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada languages.

The film ‘Kesari Chapter-2’ based on the Jallianwala Bagh massacre was released on Friday, April 18. Starring Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan and Ananya Pandey, the film is getting a good response from the audience, now the third day box collection of the film has come out. If seen, the film’s earnings have increased significantly on the third day.

Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Kesari-2’ earned Rs 7.84 crore at the box office on the first day of its release and did a business of Rs 10.08 crore on the second day. Now on the third day also the film has made its mark at the box office. The film ‘Kesari-2’ has earned Rs 12.25 crore on the third day. In this way, the total collection of the film has become 30.89 crores.

‘Kesari-2’ is about barrister C. Sankaran Nair who fought in court against the British Empire after the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Akshay plays the role of Nair in the film, while R Madhavan plays the role of a British advocate Neville Makinley. Ananya Pandey plays the role of Dilreet Gill. The film ‘Kesari-2’ is directed by Karan Singh Tyagi. It is a production of Dharma Productions.
