Hyderabad, April 22: The Andhra Pradesh CID officials arrested suspended IPS officer of the state and former head of Andhra Pradesh Intelligence Department PSR Anjaneyulu in Hyderabad today. He has been arrested in the harassment case of Mumbai actress Kadambari Jethwani. Anjaneyulu served as the intelligence chief during the YSRCP regime. He has been extremely loyal to former Chief Minister Jagan.
According to officials, he is being transferred from Hyderabad to Andhra Pradesh. According to sources, CID officers will investigate the Jethwani case thoroughly. Anjaneyulu is the second accused in the FIR lodged on the actress’ complaint. Former Vijayawada Police Commissioner Kanti Rana Tata and IPS officer Vishal Gunni have already been suspended in this case.
It is alleged that the police arrested Jethwani and his parents on a false complaint by YSRCP leader Kukkala Vidyasagar. After this, on the complaint of actress Jethwani, a case was registered against Vidya Sagar besides PS Anjaneyulu, Kanti Rana and Vishal Gunni.
