A floating bath jetty is being built along with a tent city, which will be ready before January 15. Changing rooms are being made near this pool.

Vice President of Varanasi Development Authority Abhishek Goyal said that it is proposed to start the tent city from Makar Sankranti. For this, two executive bodies are working fast. Special care will be taken for the safety, convenience and cleanliness of the tourists in the tent city.

Himanshu Agarwal, owner of Lalluji & Sons, which is building a cluster of tent city, said that pilgrims and other tourists want to bathe in the Ganges. That’s why a floating bath pool is being made for them to take a safe dip. In this, 20 to 25 people can take bath simultaneously.

Prolina Barara, executive director of Tent City Praveg Communications (India) Limited, which is being constructed in two clusters, said that a 20?20 feet floating bath pool is being built, which will be completely safe for people of all ages. Even tourists who do not know how to swim will be able to take a safe bath.

The floating pool was first planned by Smart City for Namo Ghat. There are plans to build two pools and three changing rooms here. However, this plan has been put on hold for safe bathing in the tent city being specially set up for tourists.

Before the inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, government employees will do a one-day trial in the tent city. They will stay for one night and report on the deficiencies so that tourists do not face problems.

District Magistrate S Rajalingam said that drinking water, sewer, electricity, roads and other basic facilities have been completed in the tent city.
