Lucknow, November 15: Addressing the program organized at Khalsa Chowk, Alambagh Gurudwara on the 555th Prakash Parv of Guru Nanak Dev, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that one should take inspiration from the high ideals of Guru Nanak Dev and work continuously for the country and religion.

Wishing the people of the state on Prakash Parv, the Chief Minister said that if the then government wanted in 1947, Nankana Sahib would have been a part of India. The Pakistan government creates obstacles in the devotion and faith towards Guru Nanak. We would not have to face that difficulty.

Yogi said that on one hand Guru Nanak opposed the attacks of Babar, on the other hand he inspired the society to unite and chant the name of God for worship. Later the Guru tradition moved forward. The whole of India is grateful to Guru Tegh Bahadur, Guru Govind Singh and their four Sahibzadas for their sacrifice and martyrdom, who moved forward as a bright source of power with devotion.

The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced to celebrate 26th November as Veer Bal Diwas. It is inspiring today’s young generation towards the country and religion. The grateful nation should never forget the contribution of these great traditions to the country and society. A society that takes inspiration from its heritage can never become a slave.

On this occasion, Mayor Sushma Kharkwal, Sardar Parvinder, BJP’s Metropolitan President Anand Dwivedi and others were present.
