Sultanpur, 27 March: A tanker carrying airplane oil from Lucknow to Varanasi overturned on the highway near Badhuakalan in Sultanpur district. Police and fire service officials arrived when the tanker filled with oil overturned.
From last night till 4 am on Wednesday, fire service officials remained on the spot and the tanker was taken to a safe place with the help of Hydra machine. Giving this information on Wednesday,
Fire Service Second Officer Girivar Prasad said that information was received about overturning the tanker number HR 55 AP 7411. After this, on reaching the spot, oil was found flowing from the tanker. To prevent any kind of fire, the compound was immediately brought and sprayed on the oil.
He told that the oil was covered with the compound so that the oil did not get oxygen. Chief Fire Officer Sanjay Sharma was also present on the spot.
On his instructions, three fire service vehicles were called to the spot. Emergency situations can be dealt with Hydra machine, which reached the spot in the morning to lift the tanker. After which the tanker could be secured after an hour of effort. He said that information about the incident that took place in Aliganj rural area of the district has been given to the fire headquarters in Lucknow. Also, the tanker driver Neeraj got injured on his leg, who has been sent to the hospital with the help of the local police. The paperwork has been completed in the morning.
