Kulgam, 31 May: Terrorists on Tuesday attacked a Hindu teacher of a high school in Gopalpora area of โโKulgam district. The badly injured teacher was taken to the hospital, but she died on the way.
However, the terrorists fled from the spot amid a stampede during the firing. After this incident, the security forces cordoned off the entire area and started a search operation.
The deceased has been identified as Rajni Bala, a resident of District Samba, Jammu. She was appointed under the Prime Minister’s Employment Package announced for the return and rehabilitation of displaced Kashmiri Hindus in Kashmir. She was living in a rented house in Chawalgam Kupwara.
It is worth mentioning that this is the second incident of murder of a displaced Kashmiri Hindu who got a government job under the Prime Minister’s Employment Package.
Earlier on May 12, terrorists killed Rahul Bhatt, a clerk working in the Chadoora Tehsildar office.
