Lucknow, 19 April: The blistering heat continued on Wednesday in Uttar Pradesh, with the temperatures reaching 44 degrees Celsius in some locations. The Meteorological Department said that the weather was dry and that heat wave conditions occurred in isolated areas across the state. The warmest cities in the state were Hamirpur and Prayagraj, with maximum temperatures reaching 44.2 degrees Celsius.
According to the report, Kushinagar had a temperature of 44.1 degrees Celsius, followed by Jhansi (43.6 degrees Celsius), Agra (43.4 degrees Celsius), and Kanpur (43 degrees Celsius).
The weather is anticipated to continue dry throughout eastern Uttar Pradesh, with rain falling in scattered locations in the state’s west, according to the Met office.
