The congregation of Sanatan Dharma: Lakhs of devotees take sacred bath at Sangam city before Paush Purnima

Mahakumbh Nagar, 12 January: A day before the bath of Paush Purnima in Mahakumbh, a crowd of faith thronged the Sangam city. On Sunday, lakhs of devotees took holy bath in Sangam in the morning itself. Young, elderly, children and women also participated in it with great enthusiasm.

The zeal of the devotees at Sangam was worth seeing. On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, unprecedented security arrangements have been made for Sangam bath. Every inch of Mahakumbh Nagar is being monitored from the Integrated Command and Control Center.

DIG Vaibhav Krishna and SSP Rajesh Dwivedi are monitoring the security arrangements themselves. Apart from this, additional police force has been deployed, who are updating every moment. The craze of Mahakumbh is also visible on social media. People who reached Mahakumbh also gave digital darshan to their family members through video calling.

Along with the youth and the elderly, children also showed great enthusiasm for taking holy dip in the Sangam

People of all ages on the banks of the Sangam showed tremendous enthusiasm for this great festival of Sanatan culture. The youth gathered to know their tradition and be a part of it. This event also became a symbol of deep faith for the elderly devotees.

Digital Mahakumbh’s buzz, craze increased on social media

In the digital age, the craze of Mahakumbh dominated social media. Especially the youth took bath at VIP Ghat and Sangam Nose. After which they made videos and pictures and shared them on social media. Apart from this, the people who reached the Mahakumbh gave digital darshan of Maa Ganga to their family members through video calling. Some people were also seen doing group calling on Facebook Live, YouTube Live and WhatsApp.

Enthusiasm among the youth about Sanatan culture on National Youth Day

The enthusiasm of the youth participating in the Sangam bath on the occasion of National Youth Day was worth seeing. This festival of connecting with Sanatan culture and tradition is becoming a medium to connect the youth with their roots.

Extensive security arrangements, monitoring with AI cameras

On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, extensive arrangements have been made for the safety of devotees bathing in Sangam. Every activity is being monitored from the Integrated Command and Control Center (ICCC).

Additional police force has been deployed under the supervision of DIG Vaibhav Krishna and SSP Rajesh Dwivedi. For the first time, so many modern technologies have been used during the Maha Kumbh. AI cameras have been installed for security, which are ensuring the safety of every devotee. Devotees from different states of the country as well as from abroad also praised the arrangements made by the Yogi government. They said that they had never seen such a panoramic view before.
